About Austec Panels

Austec Panel Systems, a family-owned business based in Sydney, has been developing insulated panelling systems for more than 20 years.

Our products and services have been used throughout Australia and overseas.

We started developing insulated Panelex panels for cool room, hot room and other industrial applications, and have since expanded our range to include:

  • Our fire-rated PANELPHEN product, for the widest range of internal and external building wall applications (link through to PANELPHEN section)
  • A range of rendered wall panels – called TEXTUREPANEL (link through to TEXTUREPANEL section) – allowing customers to specify colours matching their exact requirements
  • Specialised roofing panels – called Rooflex (link through to Rooflex section) – designed to replace traditional roof cladding and roofing products on a wide range of building applications.

Our planning and design service allows us to work with architects, designers, specifiers, developers and builders to deliver complete building solutions – not just truck-loads of panelling products.

We have completed a wide range of industrial, commercial, agricultural and residential projects incorporating our panelling products.

Panelex

Panelex – our traditional insulated building panel, consisting of two sheets of COLORBOND® Permagard® steel sandwiching a rigid core sheet of insulating polystyrene.

Panelex:

  • Is a strong, lightweight insulated structural panel ideal for the widest range of internal and external walling applications.
  • Complies with all appropriate Australian standards

The result is a long-lasting, extremely rigid panel with excellent thermal efficiency and sound insulation. Its clean, modern appearance ensures a low-maintenance and attractive building.
Panelex panels are 1200 mm wide, range in thicknesses from 50 mm to 250 mm, and can be produced to any length, subject to transport restrictions.

Texture Panel

TexturePanel – our insulated structural steel wall panelling – also made using BlueScope COLORBOND® Permagard® steel sandwiching a solid polystyrene core – is factory rendered with smooth or textured finishes coloured to your specification.

Texturing can also be made to simulate sandstone walling by creating a block pattern. Or you can specify thermal and sound-insulating tiles that can be added to look like sandstone blocks.

Although TexturePanel comes in nine standard colours, you can specify any other colour to best match your building project, making it ideal for carrying corporate or business colours.

TexturePanel panels are 1200 mm wide, range in thicknesses from 50 mm to 250 mm, and can be produced to any length, subject to transport restrictions.
